Aloha and thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better. In the late fifties through the mid sixties, my parents lived on the island of Oahu where my father was the Pacific region manager for an international moving company. During that time they fell in love with the people and the "aloha" life style of Hawaii. My parents were able to communicate this unique attraction to the members of my family through our family vacations to the island of Kauai. My particular attraction to the garden island was so powerful that I vowed one day this would be home.
 
I was born and raised in Long Beach, California, one of six children in the always exciting Peters family.  After attending school in Long Beach I joined our family owned and operated electrical wholesale supply company.  I served as credit manager and assistant to the CEO.  The company was highly successful and grew into a $30 million dollar business.  At the same time I also managed my parent’s investment company as well as a family owned construction company.  As a result of my background in these areas, I have a broad understanding of the building industry and am capable of recognizing quality construction.  Prior to my move to Kauai I helped stage, market and sell two residential real estate properties in Southern California.  That experience laid the foundation for my eventual real estate career here on Kauai.
 
Prior to our moving to Kauai, we were fortunate to meet a local Kauai real estate broker, Jodi Elizabeth Matsumoto.  Jodi, with over 25 years of real estate experience here on Kauai, had the knowledge, professionalism, patience and honesty that we were looking for in a real estate broker. After spending countless hours with Jodi, I realized that we shared the same attributes and work ethic. I have been associated with Jodi Elizabeth Matsumoto Realty since 2006 as an assistant focusing on marketing, communications and staging of properties. Since 2008, I have been a licensed agent in the state of Hawaii working full time for Jodi Elizabeth Matsumoto Realty.
 
I am an active member of the Kauai Board of Realtors; Hawaii Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. I am continually gaining knowledge of the islands’ real estate market through classes, lectures and local meetings. My commitment to my Real Estate career is unwavering. However, the most meaningful experience that my family has had since we moved to Kauai was our acceptance into the truly incredible extended ohana [family] here on Kauai.  The friendships we have made since we arrived on Kauai are truly our most priceless experiences. It has been especially rewarding being involved in the community through our children’s school, youth soccer, the Kauai Humane Society and NOAA’s Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary.

"Cathe Turley is everything all realtors should be but generally aren’t. We found her to be diligent, persistent, responsive, informed and a delight to work with. Cathe always went beyond what was expected of her. Having lived in Hawaii for over thirty years, we have had the opportunity to purchase several homes in Hawaii and have used several realtors prior to meeting Cathe. None of them measured up to Cathe.
